Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital is seeking an ED Staff Nurse to provide patient-focused nursing care in a busy Emergency Department. You will perform triage, medical screening, treatment planning, and discharge education as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required are active Georgia RN licensure and BCLS; ACLS/PALS may be required within 6 months depending on unit. Strong assessment, critical care skills, and teamwork are essential in this Level III trauma center environment.

Qualifications

• Georgia RN license is required and current.
• BSN preferred or higher education in nursing.
• ACLS/PALS/BCLS certifications are expected within 6 months of start date depending on role.

Responsibilities

• The staff nurse provides care from birth through lifecycle using nursing processes to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate patient care activities and maintain standards of practice.
• Collaborate with ED multidisciplinary team to ensure quality nursing care.
