Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of nursing care.
• Completes initial assessment upon patient admission and develops plan of care.
• Implements plan of care and nursing interventions; modifies as needed.
• Ensures patient and staff safety; reports and corrects hazards.
• Communicates with staff, patients and families to promote healing.
• Provides feedback for professional development and collaborates with colleagues.
