Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston seeks an experienced Emergency Nurse for a full-time role in the ED. The position offers a $20,000 sign-on bonus for experienced RNs (2+ years of acute care) and a $10,000 sign-on for new graduates, with a pay rate of $37.00–$51.28 per hour and 12-hour shifts.

Competenze

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS certification required on hire.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• PALS or ENPC within 30 days of hire.
• Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Mansioni

• Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and prioritization of care.
• Respond to acute changes, trauma, and life-threatening conditions.
• Interpret labs, diagnostics, and patient symptoms.
• Communicate patient status with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments.
• Educate patients and families on care and discharge instructions.
• Ensure compliance with EMTALA, HIPAA, and patient safety standards.
• Report suspected abuse/neglect per regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation.
