Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama in Montgomery is seeking an Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) to provide leadership on the 11A shift, coordinate nursing staff, and ensure high-quality patient care. The RN will apply the nursing process in assessments and care planning, collaborate with physicians and clinicians, and may have additional duties within the scope of the role.

This position requires weekend and holiday coverage as part of shift supervision.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending upon area.
• Ability to observe, assess, and record work, safety and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• General supervision and coordination of nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Collaborate with Physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and performance of care interventions.
