Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department (3P-3A) on a full-time basis in Montgomery, AL. The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, perform assessments, plan care, and coordinate interventions in collaboration with physicians and other clinicians.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license with BLS, and BSN is preferred. ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC may be required depending on area, with duties expanding as needed to ensure patient safety and quality

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc. may be required depending on area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize nursing process in patient assessments, care planning, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare clinicians; may assign additional duties within scope.
