Job summary

St. Mary’s Health Care System in Georgia is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. Current Georgia RN licensure is required, with one year of nursing experience preferred.

BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory and must be obtained within the first year of employment. The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, act as a resource to staff, and collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes

Qualifications

• GA RN licensure required.
• Minimum 1 year of recent nursing experience preferred.
• BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required within first year of employment.
• Emergency Department experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Advocate for patients and coordinate with care teams.
• Apply knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, and hospital systems.
• Provide resource support to staff and operate with minimal supervision.
