Job summary

Baptist Medical Center East is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee nursing staff on the first shift at the Montgomery, AL campus. Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and coordinating interventions with the medical team.

The RN will work with physicians and clinicians to ensure quality care and continuity across shifts, including weekends and holidays; strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required, BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required, BLS required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC etc may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends/holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, planning, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinicians in patient care planning and execution.
