Job summary

The Registered Nurse shall supervise nursing personnel on shift, including weekends and holidays, ensure quality and continuity of patient care, and utilize the nursing process for assessments, planning, and interventions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing staff on shift, weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and interventions.
• Collaborate with Physicians and other clinicians in care planning and execution.
• May have additional duties within scope of the role.
