Job summary

The Baptist Health system is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center East. This role focuses on leading nursing care on the 3P-3A shift, coordinating activities and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes during weekends and holidays.

The ideal candidate holds a nursing degree with active RN licensure and BLS certification; BSN preferred. You will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans and maintain patient safety

Qualifications

• RN degree required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN licensure required; BLS certification; ACLS/PALS may be required depending on area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays, to ensure quality patient care.
• Use nursing process for assessment, planning, and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians on patient care plans.
• May perform additional duties as assigned.
