Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department at Baptist Medical Center East. The role involves supervising nursing staff on shift, and coordinating patient care to ensure quality and continuity.

The nurse will apply the nursing process to assessments, planning and interventions, and collaborate with physicians and other clinicians to implement care plans. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• RN licensure active required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process for patient assessments, care planning and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• Perform additional duties within scope as assigned.
