Cooper Norcross Health in Camden, NJ seeks a Registration Specialist to handle registration, insurance verification, patient safety and compliance in a busy 24/7 Emergency Department.

The role requires excellent customer service, clear communication, and the ability to multitask in a high-volume setting. Knowledge of EMTALA, HIPAA and Joint Commission standards is preferred, with Flowcast scheduling and EPIC ED experience a plus.

Formación

• 2 years registration experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility, Hospital Emergency Department or high volume outpatient medical office preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance products and benefits, state and federal medical assistance programs, authorization and referral requirements, and collection of copays.
• Proficiency with Flowcast scheduling, registration and visit management, and EPIC ED application a plus.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for registration functions (registration, insurance verification, patient safety and compliance) in a fast paced, high volume Emergency Department that provides 24/7 service.
• Assist with revenue collections, resource referrals and customer service to patients and families in the ED.
• Ensure accuracy of patient demographics, coverage details and regulatory compliance.
