Cooper University Health Care is seeking a Registration Specialist for its 24/7 Emergency Department in Camden, NJ. The role focuses on registration, insurance verification, patient safety, and revenue collection, with emphasis on accuracy and compassionate service.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of ED or high-volume registration experience, knowledge of insurance products, and familiarity with Flowcast scheduling and EPIC ED. High school diploma required.

Formación

• 2 years registration experience in a fast-paced emergency department or high-volume medical office preferred.
• Knowledge of medical insurance products and benefits, state and federal programs, authorization and referral requirements, and copay collection.
• Proficiency with Flowcast scheduling, registration and visit management; EPIC ED experience a plus.

• Handle registration, insurance verification, patient safety and compliance in a 24/7 ED.
• Assist with revenue cycle tasks including copay collection and referrals, while delivering excellent customer service.
