Job summary

HonorHealth-osborn Medical Center in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Patient Care Technician for the Advanced Cardiac Care (Telemetry) unit. This full-time night position requires 3-12 hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, with self-scheduling and weekend/holiday rotations.

Responsibilities include direct patient care under supervision, vital signs, ADLs, and accurate documentation, with collaboration between nurses and PCTs in a high-energy cardiac environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of healthcare experience within the last year required.
• 6 months of acute care experience preferred.
• BLS certification required; CNA or EMT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient-related care tasks under the direct supervision of a licensed caregiver.
• Assists with activities of daily living, vital signs, intake/output, ambulation, and basic interventions.
• Maintains accurate medical record documentation of care delivered and reports patient changes to licensed caregivers.
• Collaborates with nurses and PCTs in a high-acuity telemetry unit to ensure safe, compassionate patient care.
