Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires completion of SHS Patient Safety Assistant training or equivalent.
• Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior medical setting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under the direction of the RN.
• Provide constant observation of at-risk or confused patients and report changes to the RN.
• Support Emergency Department operations through patient monitoring and safety risk management.
