Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) or EMT Certification, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Active Nursing Assistant Certified Washington license, OR EMT Certification.
  • Nursing Assistant Certified experience or EMT experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates appropriately with the charge nurse, co-workers and physicians.
  • Consults with other departments to provide an interdisciplinary approach to patient needs.
  • Takes specimens to the laboratory.
  • Orders supplies and assists in cost containment through proper ordering and conserving of supplies.
