Job summary

Samaritan Health Services in Corvallis, OR seeks an ED patient care support role to assist with admissions, outpatients and inpatients, and perform clerical duties to support the Emergency Department and other units. You will help with patient care and follow directions from the ED Manager, Medical Director, and unit delegates.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months related experience or EMT credentials, and BLS upon hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six (6) months related experience orCurrent unencumbered Oregon EMT, AEMT or EMT-I.
• Healthcare Provider BLS required upon hire.
• Experience or training in computer applications required.
• Previous ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient admissions, outpatients, and inpatients in the Emergency Department.
• Perform clerical duties associated with patient care.
• Assist with patient care (newborn to geriatric) as directed by ED leadership.
