Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in a medical, financial, or customers service environment.

Responsibilities

• Register patients by collecting and entering demographic and insurance information.
• Greet patients and visitors in a caring, professional manner.
• Conduct "mini-registration" for non-trauma patients upon arrival.
• Operate as receptionist and direct patients/visitors; issue passes.
• Utilize ED Tracker system for registrations and documentation.
• Ensure identification is scanned into EMR and imaging systems.
• Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays as applicable.
