PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for timely collection, validation, and entry of all demographic and insurance information necessary to support accurate billing for emergency department services. Provides excellent customer service, ensures regulatory compliance and performs related duties as required to facilitate effective patient care.
SCHEDULE: 24 hours weekly- 3:00PM-11:30PM with every other weekend/holiday required.
High School graduate or equivalent
Two years' experience in a medical, financial, or customers service environment. Experience in a patient care environment preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
Hourly Pay Range: $20.24 - $30.36 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare's good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
