Job summary

HonorHealth in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Emergency Department. Work is on the Night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) with 3–12 hour shifts and rotation across triage, split-flow and floor support. Comprehensive training provided, including phlebotomy, EKGs, wound care, and more.

The role requires strong independence, teamwork, and the ability to work in a high-acuity ED. Education: High School Diploma or GED; 6 months healthcare experience preferred; BLS certification

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of healthcare experience in the last year.
• BLS certification required.
• CNA/EMT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient-related care under the direct supervision of a licensed caregiver.
• Assists, observes and reports changes in patient condition; documents care delivered.
• Performs vital signs, intake/output, ambulation and other elements of the care plan.
• Rotates through triage support, split-flow, patient sitting, and floor support.
