The position requires a high school diploma or GED, 1 year of clinical experience preferred, and EMT-B with BLS (within 30 days). CPI/MOAB training is required within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• At least one year of clinical experience is preferred.
• EMT-B certification and BLS (within 30 days) are required or will be obtained.
• CPI and MOAB training are required within 90 days of hire.
• Mandatory Reporter Training (as applicable) may be required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with RNs and care team to support personalized care plans.
• Accurately obtain, monitor, and document vital signs and clinical data in the EMR.
• Deliver non-invasive clinical and clerical support in the ED under supervision.
• Perform EKGs, assist with patient transport, and support daily living activities.
• Prepare, maintain and ensure proper functioning of clinical equipment and areas.
• Document promptly and accurately in the electronic health record per standards.
• Promote safety, cleanliness, and infection prevention in the care environment.
• Communicate effectively with the care team and demonstrate teamwork.
