Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of a PCT program with 6 months hospital experience or CNA with EKG & Phlebotomy training.
• PCT certification eligible or NHA certification with 6 months hospital experience.
• BLS or Heartsaver CPR/AED certification required.
• Must complete PCT online program within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the professional nurse in patient care and families with assigned tasks.
• Maintain supplies, equipment and environment safety and cleanliness.
• Participate in Quality Improvement data collection and outcomes.
• Support unit operations, admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Respond to patient requests and communicate with the nurse staff.
