Hartford HealthCare's Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT, is actively hiring Emergency Department Patient Administrative Associates to join the ED for full-time, 2nd shift (3:00pm–11:30pm).

Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and Unit Manager, the PAA provides administrative support, communicates with the health care team, patients and families, and assists with observing telemetry and reporting abnormalities.

Qualificações

• Ability to read English and perform basic mathematics.
• Effective written and spoken English communication.
• Basic computer skills and ability to follow procedures.
• Preferred: hospital or physician office experience.
• CPR validation may be required within three months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Provide administrative support in the Emergency Department.
• Observe cardiac monitors and interpret telemetry rhythms.
• Communicate findings to the clinical team and patients/families.
• Assist with monitoring unit operations and documentation.
