Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT is actively hiring Emergency Department Patient Care Technicians (PCT/PCA/CNA) to join our fast-paced team. Under RN supervision, you will assist with patient movement, vital signs, and point-of-care testing in a high acuity ED.

We welcome new and experienced CNAs and offer on-site training, growth through a clinical ladder, and potential lead PCT opportunities after meeting experience requirements.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training on-site provided.
• Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association within 60 days of hire date.
• CNA, CPCT/A, EMT or CMA credentials support advancement on the PCT ladder.

Responsabilités

• Assist in movement and positioning of patients throughout the department.
• Perform point of care testing and obtain vital signs as directed by RN.
• Document patient information in the electronic medical record and monitor high‑risk patients.
