Job summary

Mayo Clinic seeks an experienced Emergency Department Paramedic to join our team in Wisconsin. You will provide high-quality emergency care across patient populations, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patient throughput with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, airway management, medication administration, and documentation in the electronic medical record. Relocation assistance may be available; competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Registered with the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians and must maintain active registration.
• Must have and maintain a State of Wisconsin Paramedic License.
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications maintained.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience caring for emergency patients in pre-hospital or hospital settings.
• Demonstrated knowledge of mass casualty events.
• Proficient use of office technology and medical software.

Responsibilities

• Assist ED staff with delegated direct and indirect patient care tasks.
• Provide care within legal scope of practice.
• Care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients in the ED.
• Perform procedures including intubation and meds administration.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other clinicians to support throughput.
• Document care in the EMR and contribute to ongoing care plans.
