Mayo Clinic in Wisconsin seeks an Emergency Department Paramedic to join the ED care team. You’ll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other professionals to deliver high‑quality emergency care, support patient throughput, and contribute to a positive patient experience from arrival through discharge.

Requirements include Wisconsin Paramedic license, active NREMT, ACLS/PALS/BLS, and 2+ years in emergency care. Eligible relocation assistance up to $10,000 is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be registered as a paramedic with Wisconsin and maintain active licensure.
• Current ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications required with active status.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience caring for emergency patients in pre‑hospital or hospital settings.
• Ability to work within a mass casualty event and in high‑pressure situations.
• Proficient with computer-based tools and medical office technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist ED staff with delegated direct and indirect patient care tasks under supervision.
• Provide care across pediatric to geriatric populations within the ED scope.
• Perform procedures within paramedic scope, including medications and airway management.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, respiratory therapists and technicians to optimize throughput.
• Document care in the EMR and support discharge planning and handoffs.
