Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing; Masters preferred.
• Active RN license in the State of Nebraska or an eligible compact state.
• 2+ years clinical experience and 1+ year leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides day to day leadership to the team overseeing departmental functions to maintain efficiency and safety.
• Key member in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate the ability to perform essential nursing functions and develop and comply with safety activities, policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership across other departments to enhance patient care.
• Monitor adherence to policy and procedures to ensure the safety of patients and staff.
• Create and oversee departmental staffing and contribute to professional growth of all team members.
