Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage resources to provide optimal nursing care.
- Recruit and retain nursing staff; coach in recruitment and retention behaviors.
- Develop and evaluate orientation and continuing education programs.
- Evaluate nursing care quality using standards and outcomes; support performance improvement.
- Develop service strategies and monitor service levels; ensure adherence to standards.
- Maintain relationships among patients, families, staff, and other departments.
- Promote evidence-based nursing in practice.
