Job summary

UPMC Bedford seeks a part-time Professional Staff Nurse to support the Emergency Department. This role involves rotating day and night shifts with a 6:00am or 6:00pm start, and requires work every other weekend and every other holiday.

The nurse will provide compassionate, evidence-based care, communicate clearly with patients and families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. The position supports professional development and career growth within the ED.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply the nursing process within a relationship-based care framework.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and care teams.
