Job summary

UPMC's 44-bed Emergency Department is seeking a registered nurse with acute or emergency care experience. The role involves delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and pursuing ongoing learning and career growth.

We offer tuition reimbursement, competitive pay, a structured career ladder, and up to 5.5 weeks PTO plus 7 holidays. Rotating shifts include weekends and holidays in a 24/7 ED setting with on-site lab & imaging.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred; UPMC student internship or clinical transitions course preferred.
• 1 year of inpatient nursing experience required; ED experience preferred.
• RN license or Temporary Practice Permit; BLS/CPR within 30 days; ACLS; Act 34 clearance.
• Licensure exam within 4 months of hire or as required.
