Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center’s Emergency Department is seeking a compassionate RN for part-time night shifts. The unit handles high patient volumes with diverse acuities in a 38-bed ED, collaborating with ED nurses, paramedics, techs, and unit secretaries to deliver safe care.

The role emphasizes assessment, plan, initiation of care, and ongoing education for patients and families, with a goal of timely interventions and excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN license; BCLS required.
• BSN preferred; relevant clinical experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through lifecycle.
• Coordinate patient care with ED team to ensure quality outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in the record.
• Oversee activities of ancillary staff and resources.
