Job summary

Ascension St Vincent Indianapolis Hospital is seeking an experienced nursing leader for the Emergency Department in Indianapolis, IN. This full-time role oversees clinical operations, quality, and staffing to ensure exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance.

You will lead hiring, training, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in ED, RN leadership experience, and Indiana RN licensure with BLS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years ED experience required.
• Leadership experience as an RN is a must.
• BLS within 1 month of hire date required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance for the unit and self.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting patient care delivery for the unit.
• Develop and implement policies to ensure efficient health services delivery.
• Develop and maintain quality monitoring systems for the unit.
• Monitor the budget and approve expenditures to stay within guidelines.
• Ensure high levels of associate, patient and physician satisfaction.
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, counseling, development and evaluation of staff.
