Job summary

AdventHealth Celebration Health Emergency Department is seeking a skilled RN to manage venous access and infusion therapy in a fast-paced setting. The role supports a busy 50-bed ED near Osceola County, requiring strong teamwork and clear communication with patients and families.

The RN will perform venous access, administer treatments, educate patients, and contribute to ongoing quality improvement. Requires active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and leadership experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• BLS & ACLS certifications required.
• Associate's degree in nursing required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1+ charge nurse or relevant leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope and ensure patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy; adjust care plans as needed.
• Assess patient conditions to determine venous access and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access patients.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Mentor and supervise nursing staff; provide feedback and conduct appraisals.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and operations.
