Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN licensure.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy treatments.
• Assess patients to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Provide patient education on venous access and infusion therapy.
• Monitor nursing staff performance and conduct appraisals.
• Mentor and precept new staff and foster professional development.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies.
