Job summary

AdventHealth Minneola is seeking an experienced RN leader to oversee venous access and infusion therapy within a hospital unit. The role emphasizes clinical excellence, patient safety, and staff mentorship in a fast-paced environment.

You will guide performance, assess patient needs, and develop care plans while maintaining compliance with standards. A strong background in ED nursing and a valid RN license with BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing required.
• 1+ year charge nurse or leadership experience.
• 2+ Emergency Department nursing experience.
• RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous access procedures within RN scope, ensuring patient safety.
• Administer and monitor infusion therapy, adjust care plans as needed.
• Assess patient conditions to determine venous access methods and address complications.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for venous access and infusion therapy.
• Educate patients on venous access and infusion therapy to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Monitor nursing staff performance, provide feedback, conduct appraisals, and drive improvements.
• Identify training needs, organize educational programs, and mentor staff for career progression.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
