Job summary

American Advanced Management, Inc. seeks a Nursing Director to oversee clinical and administrative functions on assigned units. The role requires strategic budgeting, staffing, and resource management in a 24/7 hospital setting.

Located in Stockton, CA, the incumbent will lead patient care standards, CQI initiatives, and collaboration with medical staff to ensure safe, high-quality care and compliance with safety programs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required or eligibility.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or allied health field required or must obtain within 4 years of being hired.
• Two years of nursing experience in an acute hospital with at least one year in a leadership role at first-line level.
• Current California Registered Nurse License.
• Current BLS Certification through AHA required.
• Current ACLS Certification through AHA required.
• Current PALS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Direct clinical and administrative functions on assigned nursing unit(s) on a 24/7 basis.
• Maintain hospital patient care standards and nursing services philosophy through quality care delivery.
• Identify patient safety needs and implement CQI monitors for a safe environment.
• Interview, hire, orient, supervise and evaluate nursing personnel.
• Plan and monitor staffing schedules to ensure optimal patient care.
• Develop and maintain a financial budget for the department.
• Establish and implement departmental goals and standards with medical staff and others.
• Address complaints and take timely corrective actions when needed.
