Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is seeking an Educator for the Emergency Department at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.

This full-time day position focuses on education, policy development, and onboarding for clinical and non-clinical staff. The RN Educator will lead competency validation across disciplines, coordinate with departments, and conduct Nurse Residency and specialty programs to advance nursing practice and patient care quality.

Qualifications

• Five years of full-time experience as a licensed Registered Nurse providing direct patient care in a hospital setting.
• Experience planning, implementing, and evaluating educational programs in the acute care setting is preferred.
• BSN is required; Master’s degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educator works with the team to provide high quality and evidence-based practice to all clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Develops policy and procedure; implements new skills, equipment, and processes.
• Conducts competency validation for all disciplines and onboarding for new team members.
• Delivers Nurse Residency, Preceptor Workshop, CNA Workshops, Critical Care Orientation Series, and ICU/SD New to Specialty Programs.
• Attends departmental meetings and coordinates with clinical departments; manages projects as needed.
