Job summary

Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA seeks a Clinical Nurse Educator to lead education for clinical and non-clinical staff, develop training, and validate competencies across disciplines.

The educator will onboard new team members, coordinate Nurse Residency and workshops, and support arrival of new skills and equipment. Five years RN hospital experience and California license required.

Qualifications

• Must have an understanding of educational techniques and adult learning principles.
• Must communicate effectively with all staff levels, physicians, leadership, and ancillary staff.
• Must generate enthusiasm for learning and professional growth among employees.
• Must be flexible to provide education across varying clinical shifts and departments.
• Preferred knowledge includes PowerPoint, Excel, email and the electronic medical record.

Responsibilities

• Lead educational programs and onboarding for multiple clinical departments.
• Develop policy and procedure training, competency validation, and onboarding new team members.
• Coordinate with departments and manage education-focused projects.
• Attend departmental meetings as needed and support nurse residency, preceptor workshops, CNA workshops, orientation and specialty programs.
