Job summary

Ultipro is seeking an experienced RN for the Emergency Department to cover days, full-time, on-site in Shenandoah, IA. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive nursing care from admission through discharge, with emphasis on patient safety, accurate documentation, and teamwork in a high-acuity setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, has RN licensure, and can participate in a collaborative, fast-paced ED team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborates with health care providers to coordinate medical and nursing management of patient care.
• Performs emergency treatment as required within RN scope of practice.
• Maintains accurate and ongoing documentation of patient status and interventions.
• Promotes patient and staff safety through proper procedures and risk assessments.
• Takes on duties assigned by department leadership and responds to patient/family concerns.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
