Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is hiring an Emergency Department Technician in Grapevine for full-time night shifts (6:45p–7:15a) with rotating weekends. A $1,000 sign-on bonus is available based on eligibility, and benefits include health coverage, 401(k) with match up to 5%, tuition reimbursement, and PTO from Day 1.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of patient care experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care duties, record vital signs, and document findings.
• Recognize abnormal data and follow orders from physicians and nurses.
• Provide direct technical care and assist with mobility and daily activities.
• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for lab review.
• Transport patients and support patient education and family communication.
• Coordinate clinical activities and communicate with the care team.
