Job summary

Atrium Health Lincoln Emergency Department in Lincolnton, NC is hiring a Nurse Aide I/II for a full-time night shift (7 PM–7 AM). This 36-hour weekly role assists with activities of daily living, vital signs, hygiene, and provides patient care under RN supervision.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, current Nurse Aide listing, and BLS. Pay ranges from $19.80 to $29.70 per hour with benefits included.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as a Nurse Aide I or with the applicable state Board of Nursing as a Nurse Aide II.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients/residents with activities of daily living.
• Assists patients/residents with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and height and weight measurements.
• Maintains patient/resident's rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
• Assists with clerical work such as answering phones and data entry.
• Maintains stock supply items in inventory management.
• Performs duties per Nurse Aide I/II tasks and can perform 12-Lead ECG and routine venipuncture.
