Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time Nurse Aide to support telemetry/progressive care at Atrium Health Lincoln in Lincolnton, NC. The role entails 3 twelve-hour shifts within a 6-week scheduling period, with pay ranging from $19.80 to $29.70 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, hygiene, vital signs, AMS tasks, and basic clerical duties. A high school diploma or GED, Nurse Aide I/II listing, and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current listing with the DFS Nurse Aide Registry as Nurse Aide I or with the applicable state Board of Nursing as Nurse Aide II.
• BLS required per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Supports patients with activities of daily living.
• Assists patients with personal hygiene.
• Takes vital signs and height and weight measurements.
• Feeds and ambulates patients according to specific procedures.
• Maintains patient rooms in a clean and orderly condition.
• Observes and reports changes in patient conditions.
• Orients patients to unit and discusses safety measures.
• Assists with clerical work including answering phones, data entry and maintaining medical records.
• Maintains stock supply items in inventory management.
• Performs Nurse Aide tasks per state Nurse Aide I/II scope.
• Performs ECG and routine venipuncture with proper training.
