Santa Rosa Medical Center Inc. is seeking a Manager of the Emergency Department to oversee daily operations, patient flow, and staff management within the ED.

You will drive excellence in patient care, safety, and employee engagement, collaborating with leadership to meet organizational goals in quality and financial performance. The role requires strong leadership, regulatory knowledge, and the ability to coordinate across interdisciplinary teams to optimize throughput and bed management.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred.
• 2-4 years of experience in closely related field required.
• 2-4 years of previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of the Emergency Department and ensures safe, high-quality care.
• Supervises nursing and support staff, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Collaborates with leadership to meet quality, safety and financial goals.
• Coordinates patient throughput, bed management, and reduces delays in care.
• Responds to emergencies and staffing issues with sound judgment.
• Maintains attendance and follows policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Maintains regulatory compliance.
