Job summary

Southwest General Health Center in Middleburg Heights, OH, is seeking an ED Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to provide comprehensive pharmacy services in the Emergency Department and related areas, including pharmacokinetic and therapeutic consultation. Requires BS Pharm or PharmD, Ohio licensure eligibility, and active CPR credentials (BLS/ACLS/PALS); residency or board

Qualifications

• Education required: BS Pharm or PharmD.
• One year of Emergency Department experience strongly preferred.
• Must be licensed or eligible for Ohio Pharmacist licensure; OARRS access; CPR-BLS/ACLS/PALS required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in the ED and related areas.
• Cross-train to assist with medication order entry and verification, and clinical reports.
• Support other duties in the pharmacy as assigned.
