Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System seeks a Pharmacy Clinical Specialist for Emergency Medicine at the Main Campus in Cleveland. You will coordinate pharmaceutical care for an assigned unit and participate in patient care rounds with medical staff.

The role requires PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, completion of PGY1/PGY2 or fellowship, and active pharmacist licensure with BCPS preferred. Day/evening shift with a 7:00am-3:30pm/1:00pm-9:30pm schedule, at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Post-graduate residency or fellowship training required for specialty areas.
• State licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligible for reciprocation within 90 days; Board Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs pharmacotherapeutic monitoring and provision of pharmaceutical care in the assigned clinical unit.
• Provides general and patient-specific drug information to patients, physicians, nurses and other health professionals.
• Interacts with physicians, nurses, and health professionals to provide optimal pharmaceutical care.
• Supports education of staff by participating in departmental programs and staff development.
