Prisma Health—Greenville Memorial Hospital—Emergency Department seeks a dedicated patient care teammate to assist in urgent and emergency care, under supervision of licensed staff. You will contribute to direct patient care, monitor vital signs, and support daily activity for patients in a high‑stakes environment.

Responsibilities include dressing and wound care assistance, phlebotomy, EKGs, and documentation in the EMR.

Qualifications

• Completion of a nursing assistant or related patient care course.
• No experience required; relevant roles preferred.
• For facilities/units that require monitor tech responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct patient care within scope as directed by providers and licensed staff.
• Assist with patient care tasks including dressings, catheter care, EKGs, and basic measurements.
• Document care and vitals in the EMR; monitor patient status.
• Support transport and readiness of unit for emergency care.
• Participate in process improvement and education of care team.

Formation

Completion of nursing assistant, patient care tech, medical assistant, EMT, Paramedic, surgical tech, phlebotomy, military medical corpsman or nursing fundamentals course
