Capital Health is seeking an Associate Medical Director to join the Emergency Department leadership team in Pennington, NJ. This role leads clinical practice and operational oversight across three ED sites while maintaining an active clinical schedule.

You will partner with nursing and administrative leadership to optimize patient throughput, quality of care, and provider scheduling, driving standardization of practices across sites.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree and board certification in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM).
• Minimum of three years of post-residency ED clinical experience.
• NJ and PA licenses, DEA and CDS, and other medical staff bylaw requirements.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct emergency medical care in Capital Health EDs including examination, diagnosis, tests, treatment and disposition.
• Oversee physician and AP/NP operations and staff scheduling across sites.
• Lead initiatives to improve patient throughput, door-to-provider time, length of stay, and discharge processes.
• Monitor department quality metrics and participate in quality improvement and peer reviews.
• Align clinical practice and policies across all ED sites in collaboration with leadership.
• Participate in onboarding, orientation and ongoing performance feedback for physicians and APPs.
• Address patient and staff concerns promptly and professionally.
