Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.

• Board certification in BPS preferred; PGY1 residency or 3 years experience required.

Responsibilities

• Interprets and processes drug orders for patients in assigned areas.
• Responds to medication order issues and suggests therapy adjustments.
• Provides drug information to patients and health care staff.
• Supervises pharmacy technicians and coordinates workflow.
• Participates in Code Blue and emergency management.
• Maintains medication-use safety and participates in QA initiatives.
