Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a clinician to provide Emergency Crisis Intervention Services in the hospital setting, conducting initial and follow-up assessments for patients with behavioral health needs. The role includes formulating dispositions, developing after-care plans, and coordinating with psychiatric providers and the care team.

You will de-escalate situations, document thoroughly, and support patients in navigating follow-up care, working within NJ regulations.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field.
• NJ LSW/LAC Certification or current eligibility may be considered in lieu of LSW/LAC.
• Experience in crisis intervention preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Crisis Intervention Services in hospital settings.
• Conduct initial and follow-up clinical assessments for behavioral health patients.
• Formulate dispositions and clinical summaries per policies and regulatory requirements.
• Complete risk and safety assessments and after-care planning with patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver direct patient care.
