Job summary

Atlantic Health Hackettstown Medical Center seeks a licensed behavioral health professional to provide Emergency Crisis Intervention Services in the ED. You will conduct initial and follow-up clinical and risk assessments for patients with behavioral health concerns and coordinate dispositions with the care team.

The role requires a Master's in social work or related field, NJ LSW/LAC, and a two-shift pattern (2PM-10PM on weekdays and every other weekend).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field is required.
• NJ LSW/LAC licensure is required.
• Shift requirement: 2PM-10PM weekdays and every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide Emergency Crisis Intervention Services including initial and follow-up clinical and risk assessments for behavioral health patients.
• Formulate provisional dispositions and clinical summaries.
• Complete assessments for substance use concerns and withdrawal, identifying symptoms and risks.
• Develop after-care plans and assist patients with follow-up appointments.
• Complete crisis evaluations, risk assessments, safety plans and reevaluations per policy.
