Job summary

VEG in Peabody, MA seeks an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team. You'll handle triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring and critical care nursing, while supporting pet parents in stressful moments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AVMA-accredited degree preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the practice state required.
• 1+ year in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring and critical care nursing.
• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to maintain care flow.
• Handle tests, imaging, IVs, and advanced techniques as needed.
• Maintain calm, compassionate presence for pets and their guardians.
